Woodward-Fab 8" throatless metal cutting shear

So far I have only cut .090 steel sheet. Works really well. The price was right and the packing of this was really well done. No damage whatsoever. It was adjusted correctly right out of the box. I used 7/16” bolts to bolt it to my work bench.

I waited way to long to purchase a bench shear of this type. Met all my expectations. Emailed Woodward today about the paint smelling, like really bad. If the paint smells this bad after sitting in a box for weeks and my shop now for couple weeks LOL, can't imagine what the factory is like. I'll gladly strip off the paint in a month if its still there.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AND SELLER IS RIPPING ME OFF!! The paint chipped anywhere between two moving pieces. Bad design and poor quality. I unpackaged the product, assembled the shear and pulled down the handle and the paint just crumbled off. Without even using the blade. Now the seller is telling me the product is damaged and won’t return my money!!! Refund policy is a scam!! If you unpackage the product you get charged! How else am I suppose to see if it works!? Bought this because American made, but makes me wish I would have bought foreign. Bad product and even worse seller.

I purchased this for cutting 1/32" to 1/16" aluminum sheet, and so far it does a great job. Considering the construction of it, aluminum is certainly an easier material for it.

Does what it promised right out of the box. Used it for some small sheet metal parts and to cut 3/16" rod for 3-dozen rings I rolled for a piece of furniture I'm making. Love it so far.

Game changer for me. Cuts all my copper like butter. Should have got this years ago.
