You need an antennae otherwise this card doesn't work. The card itself is fairly simple to install. The Antennae is a bit more difficult because you may want to tuck in the slack from the wire to the antennae.

A: I'd say "Be careful". I've seen M.2 that are different, as I shop here today. While the size may be the same, there are different slotted "keys". Key M, A, and E.
