It should be perfect for the purpose. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Appears to be good ground rods *by Z***1 on January 13, 2026* I've used a couple times to ground Ham Radio equipment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it says, does it well *by Z***E on March 24, 2021* At first I joked with my friends about "spending $20 on a rod to shove into the ground and forget about", but honestly, this thing does wonders for my antennas. My antennas were not previously properly grounded. This rod, coupled with 10 AWG wire, has made a load of difference on my SDRs, the noise floor is lower, the HF reception has increased, and some of the interference I was experiencing was weakened. There was a review here that said, when installing the wire to the clamp, to put the wire on the OPPOSITE side of the screw in the mount. I did that, and found it very, very easy, took less than 3 seconds to install the wire into the mount. Overall, it was definitely worth the cost. Installation was simple enough, I just used a normal hammer, gently tapping the top of the rod until it was buried.
