**Q: Is the armrest able to be put on either side  ?**
A: Yes, it can be fitted on either side.

**Q: Is this suitable for someone that needs it for a total hip replacement as I can’t have my leg at a 45 degree able for 4-6 weeks.**
A: My mom doesn't use it as a transfer bench. She just needed a wide seat and this fits her fine. One thing to remember is to pay attention as to what side you want the armrest/side guard on as you can put it on either side. She wants hers switched to the other side now.

**Q: Is the chair back removable?**
A: Yes, the back is removable by pressing two release buttons in the back's supports under the bench and sliding it out.

**Q: Can one of the 3 seat sections be quick removed and replaced to allow the shower curtain to close better?**
A: doesn't look like it to, still have the cross bar that supports the seat sections.
