Although I am not a coffee drinker, I ordered this for one of my coffee lover colleagues. He is going to love it! This kettle is made of 0.5mm SS304 stainless steel (yep, that is the good stuff) and is the perfect size and design for heating your water to the exact temperature desired (you can monitor that with the built-in thermometer on the lid and the sensor is encased in stainless steel and suspended in the middle of the water). Once the water is perfect, you have a perfectly controlled, slow pour of the water over your coffee grounds allowing you to easily and gently moisten all of the coffee grounds in every corner of the filter. The water never touches plastic--only this fine grade of stainless steel. The spout is riveted and not welded which should last much longer. This pot is designed to be used on gas or electric heating areas including induction heating units. The handle is far enough out that it remains cool while the water is being heated. Designed to hold 0.9 liters of water, this premium coffee drip kettle is perfect for the coffee enthusiast in your life (whether that's you or, in my case, a good friend who is going to be really excited when he receives this as a gift).This is actually the second product I have ordered from Vescoware. I originally ordered a teapot from them which we use for hot chocolate and heating water while camping for all kinds of warm water uses. It has withstood the rigors of camping and regular use and we love it so I was delighted to see this newly released coffee drip kettle which is a perfect gift for my colleague.

I've been so fed up with kettles that are impossible to clean. I finally found the perfect kettle! It's beautiful, stylish (guests who normally don't notice such things were struck by its lovely design) and works! The company is great - my first order came slightly damaged (although still usable). Their customer service is outstanding - within hours of my email, a new one was on the way. I've never seen such a customer service oriented company. I love, love, love this kettle. It's perfect for tea and Melitta style pour-over coffee, but is fine for any boiling water needs. And the built-in thermomemeter has a blue wedge showing the perfect pre-boiling temperature so I can easily see when the water is just the right temperature. It's easy to clean - my main reason for buying - and I highly recommend the kettle and this company.

TBH, this wasn't my first choice for a pour over kettle (based purely on price) but that kettle's price drastically increased while in my Amazon shopping cart. I went with Vescoware and I'm happy to the point where I will probably buy another and give away my electric kettle. I'm most pleased with two things: the built in thermometer and this kettle holds enough water so I can brew 6 cups of pour over coffee. Basically used on a daily basis since it arrived, I have not seen any rust, and my "care" so far has been to just empty the contents and turn it upside down to dry.It's more than obvious that they are very concerned about customer service as they have been in touch with me twice to make sure I'm happy with my kettle.

FOR THE PERFECT COFFEEE, I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A POUR OVER KETTLE WITH BUILT IN THERMOMETER FOR SOMETIME NOW . AFTER MANY SEARCHES I OPTED FOR THE VESCOWARE POUR OVER COFFEE KETTLE WHICH WAS ON SALE AND WHAT A GOOD DECISION THAT WAS. THE BUILD QUALITY SEEMS TO BE UP THERE AND REALLY LIKE THE WAY THE THERMOMETER HAS BEEN BUILT INTO THE COVER. I HAVE USED IT A FEW TIMES AND I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT SO FAR. IT HEATS UP VERY QUICKLY AND THE GOOSENECK SPOUT WORKS LIKE A GEM WITHOUT ANY SPILLAGE WHATSOVER. I AM SO FAR VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS KETTLE AND WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WANTING TO BREW COFFEE AT HOME OR WORK.

I was glad when I opened the box containing the kettle and saw the design. As a habitual coffee and tea drinker, this product could be the best I have ever used for that purpose. The ergonomic design of the handle makes it safer to hold when pouring hot water and the goose neck spout makes it very easy to pour water into a cup without splashing.The thermometer on top of the lid let's you see how hot the water in the kettle is. This is a great product and I hope to enjoy using it as long as it takes and will recommend it all tea or coffee lovers.

The reason I purchased this kettle is because it cost less than others that seemed to be of the same quality, with a higher price tag. I can't speak of the durability because I've only had it for a short time, but it seems it'll hold up.Quite honestly, in my opinion, this kettle and all the others I have viewed on Amazon similar to this, seem way overpriced for a thin, stamped piece of steel that's made for pennies in China.I'm keeping it because I'm tired of searching for a decent pour over kettle, and it is the least expensive, as I have purchased several, but returned them once I received them only to see how overpriced they were for what I was getting.

It dogs the job - boils water. The handle is well made and doesn't get hot. The gooseneck is easy to pour.The thermometer on ours stopped working after two days though. Contacted thecompany and they were fast to respond. They asked for a picture or video of the thermometer not working. We are keeping it anyway because we just need to to boil water and we don't need a thermometer for that.

I really like this pot. The built in thermometer gets my water to exactly what temp I want it and the goose neck spout is perfect for my AeroPress. No mess. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that it arrived with a broken handle. I did not want to deal with return so glued the broken plastic chunk back on with gorilla glue and so far it is holding together fine.
