I am 33 years old and I feel like my skin always dries out--and yet, I have had a hard time with acne in my adult years. Most cleansers either dry out my face, or don't clean it well enough. I DO use a moisturizer after using this face wash, however, in a pinch, I don't think I would die without it. This face wash is moisturizing and also cleans the face really well. It feels like creamy luxury. Lasts me 4 months. It's creamy, so you may feel like it won't clean well, but it totally does because it is great quality. It isn't watery like most cleansers. You only need to use about the amount that would fit on the tip of your finger because a little bit goes a long way. :) (a little less than a dime). This combined with prenatal pills has saved my skin!!! I have been buying this cleansing cream for over 20 years (it lasts a very long time, so not that many tubes. ;-) The first few tubes I bought at Nordstrom's and other high end department stores, before it was available on the web. The aroma was wonderful, likely due to the essential oils and other good ingredients. It felt good being applied and did a great job cleansing pores. My skin always looked and felt better after using it.Back in about 2006 or so, Borghese made some changes, and started selling some of their products through Costco. The snooty high-end department stores were offended, and stopped carrying the Borghese line, according to a woman I knew who worked at Nordstrom's. Since this product was difficult to find, I did without for years, weeping and wailing and not looking nearly as fresh-faced as I once did.Enter Amazon, and apparently some new VPs at Borghese. They changed for formula!! What a huge, yes, (yuge!) disappointment!! That intoxicating and refreshing aroma was gone. Why o why was this change made?? To be more profitable while dissapointing (and losing?) loyal customers? No more evening pick-me-ups for me (and no, Tiramisu is no substitute!). I don't look forward to using the cleanser like I used to. I winced at paying 40 bucks in a store for this stuff, but in the end, was happy I did, especially given that it was likely economical to use since it takes only a small pea-sized dab to wash face and neck.One day in the distant future, I will again reach the end of the tube, then cut it open to reach the last precious bits of carefully blended Italian cream. It is so mild on the skin, but yet removes all make-up without having to use a make-up remover first. It leaves a squeaky clean feeling without dryness. I can't rate it high enough, have used it for years, but now not available at Dillards/mall so I have it buy it online. One tube lasts for months used twice a day, morning and night! I should mention that I don't wear a lot of make-up in the first place.
