**Q: Does it Beep or make any noise?**
A: It does not beep but it makes noise while it's literally falling apart!!  I purchased the first one and had to send it back immediately and the replacement arrived and after 2 months I started watching it fall apart;  putting oil on my floor!  There are other options on the web site to purchase and I recommend you purchase from them ;  not this one!!  Hope this helps because when I first got the second one it worked great for 2 months and it should have lasted longer than that!!

**Q: The instructions it says to remove the screws next to the display to get to the battery, but there are no screws there. How do you get to the battery?**
A: Well, you are correct on the no screws.   I used a small thin flat screwdriver blade to poop it off.  If you don't have screw drivers, I'd use a dull butter knife, to pry it off to get to the battery.  Hope this helps you.

**Q: How many turns equal one mile?**
A: That information is not included in the manual but, I believe, that will depend upon the resistance settings and how hard the user works; both of which will be related to the Revolutions per minute. I measured my unit. The foot pedal is 4 inches wide. The distance from the center of the machine to the farthest edge of the pedal is roughly 7.5 inches. To calculate a rough average of distance traveled per rotation, I used the distance from the center of the machine to the center of the foot pedal or 5.5 inches. Based on that data the pedals will travel the average distance once around a circle of circumference 34.5575 inches every turn. There are 63360 inches in a mile. Thus the total number of revolutions to go one mile will be 63360 in//the total distance covered by the pedals in one rotation: 63360/34.5575 = 1833.46596 on average. Based on those assumptions, I would estimate you would need to pedal a minimum total of 1.834 full turns to cover one mile.Just an estimate - hope it helps. It is worthy to note: the TIME it takes the user to reach one mile will depend on the resistance and their effort.

**Q: How should I choose the resistance level to use?**
A: Trying to build muscle, tighten the knob and just to tone, less resistance
