I am a homeschool mom and my kids are young. I ordered it to help in our calm down corner and during reading time. They like having something to fidget with and hold while we read together.. however I’m finding the quality or maybe material in the squishy items are terrible. They lost the “soft” feeling as soon as they were dropped on the floor and picked up lint and a little dog hair from the rug. I tried washing them but now they are even more sticky, and even more susceptible to lint and dog hair. The residue it leaves on our hands is a little questionable too. Any advice for what I can put on them to make them soft again? Or should I just trash it? I do like the bubble/oil visual toy.
