It has wireless voltage alert if you feel uncomfortable sticking leads into an outlet. Just hold the meter within a few inches of an outlet, power cord, appliance, etc and it will beep if there's live voltage. **Q: How do you measure the voltage in a tire as show in the display?** A: That pic with the tire is probably from step-up multimeter model which has temperature measurement feature with thermo-sensor placed at the end of wire connected to multimeter, so pic shows how to measure temperature of hot tire. But this multimeter does not have that temperature feature (that model cost about 25$). **Q: Ranges are 600 mv to 750V and 1000V, Will it measure voltages below 600mv?** A: It will measure down to 0.01mV in both - AC and DC modes, thou manual says - 0.1mV. **Q: Does anyone know where to get a better user manual?
