Review: Worked Well. Easy to Use. - I usually use glazier’s points, or small brads, for picture framing. But one frame I was trying to repair would not take either. So I ordered one of these. Very similar in concept to a large staple gun. Feels well made. Very little instruction provided, but pictures in the desertcart posting help. Although, I recommend placing the outside of the frame rail up against a solid object to resist the point insertion force. I did a test shot on a piece of scrap wood to see where the framing point was inserted, and how deep (adjustable depth). Worked well. Low squeeze force. Saved that picture frame, and will be used on many more.
Review: Excellent tool but comes without instructions. - No instructions, labels in Chinese- but watch the YouTube video to learn how to load and handle. It’s easy to use once you’ve figured that out. I frame a lot of artwork, and I don’t know how I lived without this tool.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this come with the tabs? And is this used for securing the back onto picture frames and shadow boxes?**
A: I was very anti on this way of securing the back until I needed to do because of an antique frame.  I won't use anything else from now on.

**Q: Where do you get refills?**
A: I usually order them online. Amazon has them. The specifics for ordering come with it. Be sure you get the right size.

**Q: does this come with rigid or flexible points?**
A: They seem to be more rigid then flexible

**Q: How big is the topl itself?  I want to use on 5" x 7" frames.**
A: It works well on 5 x 7 and up to much larger frames. I really am glad that I bought it. I hope you have success with it too if you do.

Have wanted one of these forever and finally got around to ordering it. I draw and paint and buy used frames at thrift stores. Wrestling with removing and replacing the wires and other methods they use when trying to reframe my work has been an uphill battle. Years ago I owned a cross stitch shop and did all my own framing and used one of these point drivers. Life changing if you do a lot of framing. This one is very well made and works like a charm.
