Review: My Cats Love This Toy! - I don't know why my cats love this simplistic toy so much but they do. I am now on our 12th purchase of this item in two years. And this is only because I have one male cat who makes it his mission to bite through the cord and ruin the fun for everyone else. And when he does succeed, I pull out the rope from it's body and he promptly carries it off in his mouth in complete victory so he can hoard it away from the other cats. He carries them in his mouth everywhere and then brings them to me so he can play fetch. While the mouse is intact on the string, it swings and bounces with such enthusiasm that all of the cats are zoned in for the kill. They will play with this toy for 20 minutes straight. The mouse has a small rattle sound and the fur sticks out just enough to entice them to try and bite it and grab it with their claws. They all love to chew on the mouse when they have it clutched in their claws. It's the perfect size mouse too. My only issue is that the door hanger itself will sometimes lose the rubber covers on the end when they are too aggressive in their attacks (they try to pull it free from the rope) and one of the sides sometimes slips off the doorframe. I usually find the rubber ends and put it back on but most times I can't find it until I vacuum it up and I don't bother putting it back on then. But other than that, it really is a great toy for our little hunters.

Be sure to hang it in a doorway without any especially fragile items nearby, because of that! (Several times I've had to retrieve it after it bounced back so wildly as to get hung up on the door hinges or a nearby object.) I did find the same issue others have noticed-- most doorways are far too wide for the top part to fully grip around, but I hung it somewhat sideways on part of the door frame and it has had no issues staying in place, even with my cat dragging the mouse toy all over our home and then letting it bounce back with force. This will likely become a go-to gift for anyone I know with a playful young cat. ETA: if your cat plays with it as wildly as mine does (carrying it off to let it spring back), you'll find that soon the mouse starts to be "skinned." **Q: My cat bit through the string of one is there anyway to replace it?**
A: My 2 cats are playing like crazy,The rope was bitten,I tied the 2 ends together and it was whole once more! And then he ripped it again... so then I tied it together a 2nd time! And he hasn't ripped it for the third time ... yet... so now my other 2 felines can enjoy the toy, yay! I'll definitely buy another one once I no longer have enough string to keep tying it together, because the other 2 kitties love it!

**Q: How do i hang it, Is it easy to hang?**
A: It is easy to hang between door casings and anywhere you have a few inches to attack it. Doesn’t leave marks either.

**Q: Please stay with your cat, this got caught around my cats neck multiple time, thankfully I was right there, Seller, is this in the safety information?**
A: It is connected between the living room and kitchen/eating area. I am never far from her (she is also codependent). I don't see how the cord can form a loop on it's own.

**Q: It says prime but why does it take a week to receive?**
A: Çhristmas orders.I have ordered these before and they came very fast.Orders made around now will be slower due to volume of Christmas orders

I don't know why my cats love this simplistic toy so much but they do. I am now on our 12th purchase of this item in two years. And this is only because I have one male cat who makes it his mission to bite through the cord and ruin the fun for everyone else. And when he does succeed, I pull out the rope from it's body and he promptly carries it off in his mouth in complete victory so he can hoard it away from the other cats. He carries them in his mouth everywhere and then brings them to me so he can play fetch. While the mouse is intact on the string, it swings and bounces with such enthusiasm that all of the cats are zoned in for the kill. They will play with this toy for 20 minutes straight. The mouse has a small rattle sound and the fur sticks out just enough to entice them to try and bite it and grab it with their claws. They all love to chew on the mouse when they have it clutched in their claws. It's the perfect size mouse too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ my cats' favorite toy, but string breaks easily

My cats and I love this! I really appreciate how much it keeps them entertained independently—it is their favorite toy. It's super easy to hang up and doesn't really get in the way of the door if placed to the side. The string did break within a couple of weeks—it's a decent quality but they do play with it a lot. It's not a big deal though and easy to tie other toys to it. I still think it's worth it and will probably buy another one soon!
