You want it for the whimsy.On that level, it FULLY delivers.While the mechanical parts do seem a little smaller and a little thinner than I'd like to be assured years of happy tea making, it arrived fully working and unlike other people, the "mouth"on mine fully shuts like it should.Time will tell how well it holds up with actual use. I'm a casual tea drinker so mine will be on display more than it'll be used.
