Not thick, god forbid I have natural body 😅 I have been using this hairspray for almost 20 years when I'm wearing my hair wavy. I've tried many others, but none that I've tried can be used on damp hair to style. It's not sticky or drying, and I can't think of a time where I've over-used it by accident and my waves ended up crunchy. My hair always comes out feeling soft once it's dry and I can still run my fingers through it. I feel like it lasts forever, too so the price doesn't bother me as much.I will say, I have never been impressed with this hairspray on dry hair on styles that you really want to keep in place. But it did really well holding my curls after using a curler.
