## Description

desertcart.com: Authentic Chinese hot pot soup base seasoning 7.05 oz (200g), Haorenjia Sichuan hotpot broth sauce spicy : Grocery & Gourmet Food

Review: Perfect for solo hot pot, not too spicy - 1 block was perfect for a solo hot pot About a 6/10 on spice so you do feel it a little bit but nothing uncomfortable If you only like a little bit of mala/spicy+numbing flavor then this should be perfect. It's much more balanced than other mala hot pot bases I've tried
Review: Definitely spicy hot - As advertised, it is spicy. One packet (4 units) was good for hot pot for 3-4 people. Note that it contains Sichuan hot pepper oil (I think) so you may feel the characteristic mouth & lip tingling for a few mins. Nothing severe for Asians. I felt that it needed some added salt or soy sauce to balance the spicy heat. I'll order again.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Spicy that leaves a delicious tingle in your mouth
*by Н***А on November 17, 2025*

A little goes a long way with this base. I use it in ramen, rice, and many times in spicy seafood. It is so packed with spice and it's nicely done with only a small amount needing to be used at a time. The flavor is amazing and I highly recommend it for those who like spicy food. If you're not into spice, maybe sit this one out.
