Long story, short, if you value comfort, I would look at something else (the G230/430 is comfy). I have a few other headsets, none make my ears hurt like these do. They also make my diminutive girlfriend's ears hurt as well. This could be subjective, your mileage may vary.Pros:--The sound quality is pretty good. It has decent range and plenty of lows. Quite comparable to more expensive headsets.--The microphone works well.--The unit feels sturdy. It looks good and seems to be built well.Cons:--Biggest issue is the padding is too thin, so your ears will likely be touching the inside speaker. If you intend to do any longer gaming sessions (2-3 hours+), these will become annoying. It becomes annoying immediately, it's just a matter of how long you can bear it, like bad glasses.--Heavy. Compared to my other headsets, these weigh somewhere around twice as much (as for example, twice as heavy as my Logitech G430)--The lights are simply a gimmick. They merely pulsate through the 7 colors. You cannot choose one color.--Volume/mic switch are on the headset itself which is more awkward than the inline method.I would spend another $7 and get the rather comfy Logitech G230 ($35 in some places) or something else that people rate highly.These will be the backup pair. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works really well *by D***G on Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2016* I really like these headphones , they are super comfortable has a lot of padding for ears and on top of head so can wear a very long time without taking them off. The sound for this price is very good. It goes up really loud and the bass is good and works perfect for my laptop and my Grandsons computer . Is adjustable so will fit almost any body, but might be to big on younger kids because the ear covers are pretty big, It lights up when using so the kids think that is really cool looking. The mic works good on it I use it to dictate with my laptop and is great for that. Comes with a thick cord so does not get all twisted up like some of the other ones I have had,The USB jack is for powering the LED lights, the green jack is for audio, and the red one is for the microphone. The headphone is compatible with computers or PC. Really good affordable headset. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ **3.5 STARS** Better than average stereo sound with clear mic. *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on February 24, 2017* Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  For the price, this headset is above average. I was surprised to find it was well built, very comfortable to wear for many hours at a time, and the microphone is adequately sensitive. I tested it using Google Voice on my computer and everyone said I sounded crystal clear. I like that there was a manual switch behind the headband on the top left side to mute the mic when not in use. I would have preferred it was more easily accessible, such as a push button on the mic boom or on the cable itself with volume adjustment in one place, but not that big of a deal. The mic boom is easily adjustable, although it isn't as rigid as I'd like, resulting in it not staying in place at times.I tested several 320kbps uncompressed audiophile grade tracks and at first I was a bit disappointed. Mids and highs were a bit muddled, but after adjusting the EQ on my sound system, managed to tweak the headphones to sound pretty good for a $23 headset. Solid bass for a 50mm driver, but definitely no Sennheiser. The padding on the ears is very comfortable and there is a volume dial on the bottom of the left side with ample amplification.The exterior of the headset has LED's that are powered via USB and cycle through several colors. A bit gimmicky to me, but some may like the effect. If you don't like your head to be illuminated, just unplug the USB cable - the headset will function fine with just the green (headphone) and pink (mic) plugs. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.A couple things to note: the headband is designed to look cool and futuristic, but the edges of the design are a bit sharp and when I wear they headphones around my neck, they dig in a bit.
