**Q: what's the power source for these? PP3?**
A: PP£ will work if the resistance of the cable the battery to the starter is low enough to allow 2 amps to flow. If you're in doubt, I suggest that you try one ignitor outside the rocket.  Watch out for the very thin wires that connect most PP3 battery connectors.  A better bet is 4 x AA cells - you can buy holders from Amazon.
