**Q: Can i connect a abs 3in pipe to this?**
A: No. Just buy the emitter separate and get adapter from Lowe’s. It locks in.

**Q: Does this connect to 3 inch schedule 40 white drain pipe or do I need an adapter?**
A: Hi, (3" Pop UP Emitter with 3" drain elbow) will need a 3" Flexible Coupler (NDS # 56-33) to connect to 3" Sch. 40 pipe.

**Q: Does this fit on the inside of a 3" elbow or on the outside?**
A: inside

**Q: Does this emitter have a spring to prevent the cap from getting sucked into my mower?**
A: No.  I've found that if the flange is flat with the yard I've had no problems mowing over them.  I did have one that was set a little high and clipped it with the mower.

This pop up 4 inch downspout elbow drain is made of quality materials, and it functions very well. Stop getting critters in your downspout openings or walking through your yard and stepping in a hole, or tripping over a large downspout extension. We have had them in our yard for decades and they work fantastic.
