I can't say with 100% accuracy, but I don't believe the attachments are interchangeable. That sounds like using Ford parts on a Chevy. **Q: Can I attach this to my kitchen aid?** A: No it can’t be attached. **Q: Are there recipes for dairy free ice cream?** A: I no longer have the recipe book that was enclosed but as with most dairy free ice cream, substitute Cashew milk or other plant based "milk" for cow's milk. Ive used it a couple times now and I think it's great for small portions. Maybe for 2 ppl. It's easy to use, clean and assemble. Just ensure it's fully frozen. If u have the space in your freezer, just leave it there until you need it. That way it will stay cold long enough to get the ice cream hard enough to handle. It's a good product. So far, no issues.
