Has a wrist strap that can be tucked inside or left hanging out as you like. I think the 9"x6"x2" listed above is shipping package.** A: The exterior dimensions of the case are 7.5" x 5.25" x 2". My meter did not include printed directions, so I couldn't say whether they'd fit inside, but, there is a pocket that would hold a manual if it were less than around 6.5" x 4.25". **Q: Can anyone tell me how the magnetic hanger attaches to the case?** A: There's a slot in the top of the blue rubbery case that the magnetic hanger attachment slides up into. The magnet is in the center of the attachment. There's also a thin cord coming out the top, so if there's no steel around, you could hang it on a hook...but the cord is pretty thin, so I wouldn't use it if anything would pull on the meter.The magnetic attachment can also be slid down and out, so if you wanted to, you could 3D print, CNC mill, cast, carve, or whatever, a different kind of hanger if you had need to. It's basically a small rectangle, with a cylindrical boss sticking up out of it that holds the magnet. It goes very well with my Hioki DT4215 multimeter and probes. It's not too big or too small for a compact case. There's a belt strap on the back of the case and a fold-down wrist strap inside the case.
