**Q: How long does it stay cold?**
A: It stays cold and effective 15-20 minutes

**Q: Can this item be heated in microwave?**
A: No, it is a gel pack, not beads.

**Q: How long does it remain cold?**
A: It’s never been cold for me (when i need pain relief) even after a week in the fridge. It’s very cool but does not last long. 15 minutes and I need to get a real ice hat.  I use one of the other ice hats I bought on Amazon (much colder).  If you need it to be cold maybe not for you but if you’re ok with cool even for a short time, this might be ok.
