I've researched the grading system and numerous sites ( which I can find for you if you're interested), say it's more or less the seller branding their own product as "grade A." There is no official entity, government or otherwise, that has been given this power. The American Shea butter institute, has established a grading system and they will test your samples and grade it based on their criteria for a small fee.
