You need approx 2 1/2 lbs. of weight on power chord. Too much wt. runs fast. **Q: I can’t get the 2 top pieces aligned properly so pendulum starts it never catches to move the wheel. When I manually move wheel everything works. Help** A: Unfortunately, I have the same problem. As I was doing all these adjustments, the clock numbers were falling off so I glued them back in. I wish I could help if I were able to have help for me as well. Wood Trick has been communicating with me but I still have the problem in getting the clock to work. I do not think I am the only one is having this problem. It would help, greatly if Wood Trick would have a separate video to troubleshoot. They did do a good thing by adding a very long video on assembly which helped. It is the end result of getting the clock to function , is the problem. All I know is this. Wood Trick mentioned that the weight of the gravel is extreamley important and not to get the correct weight for the pendulum to function can cause problems of adding stress on the clock. That is about all I can say about it. It looks good on the wall even if the clock does not work. Of course, I want it to work. Nada de que piezas en el manual están al revés. Tranquilidad al montarlo, yo utilizo un bote de cera alex para muebles, buen lijado de piezas con sables de uñas para mujeres. Y siempre los palillos un punto de loctite o como se llame, tras ello barnizo todas las piezas, y monto. Aparte, si se monta bien no hace falta 1200 gramos en contrapeso. El mío con 640 funciona perfecto. Por otro lado y si tienes altura, que es el fallo del reloj, levantalo mucho mas así podrás tener mas de 12 horas de trabajo.
