Review: useless 3m tape, good brightness, radio control section broke immediately. - Light is fine generally, but firstly the 3m tape as other reviews suggest is very bad quality. Had to immediately replace with my own double sided 3m tape. Also the radio controller broke immediately meaning the light is no longer controllable by remote control, only now on or off from the power. The plug in radio control section smelled like burning and stopped working 2 mins into use. Once removing this part the light functions on or off but radio control no longer functions there for none of the brightness settings or mode setting are accessible without the remote. There's no info in the box on what fuse rating should be used with it so much guesswork involved.

**Q: What are the measurements of the light bar?**
A: 38.5inch

**Q: How can i wire this is my jeep is a hard top with out having a trunk cigarette lighter and without the wires sticking out if the top is off?**
A: Same problem... i got my voltmeter and followed  the cables on the passenger side. It has a platic trim that you can remove just at the end of the roll bar.  Test for 12v. It took me like an hour cause i wanted to use the back window wiper cables but dont do that. I takes like 15min once you find the 12v cables. Hope that helps. For 20 bucks it's awesome. Used doble sided tape to attach the remote control to one of the windows.

**Q: Can this be hardwired without using the RF remote for simple on/off?**
A: Yes, it can be hard wired (2 wire conductor provided), I velcro'd my remote to the rear cargo area of my Bronco for quick access.

**Q: Anyway to purchase 2 additional remote for this?**
A: It didn’t even come with instructions so, I’m not quite sure

### ⭐⭐⭐ Update: Double-sided Tape is Useless; Comes on by itself

Update: I decided to buy some real 3M double sided tape and install it. Installation was easy enough. I removed the cover of the subwoofer in the rear of my Jeep to access the wiring for the 12v power plug that’s wired directly to the battery, and connected the wiring for the LED light to it. I also decided to use the remote that came with the light instead of using the switch I bought for it. Twice now I’ve gone out to the Jeep and the light is on. I turned it off with the remote. At some point, it has turned on automatically. NOT happy. Will have to go back to my idea of using a physical switch. I picked a beautiful warm day to install this light in my Jeep Wrangler. Prepared the window mounting location with alcohol, tried to stick it on after peeling back the protective cover — got to about a foot from the start and it started coming loose. 27°C in my garage too. Went back to press down harder — wouldn’t stick. I’m now deciding whether or not to return it or keep it and buy some decent 3M brand tape. What a waste of time (and money). The light is bright enough, and all I need is a single setting for it to come on. But it needs to stay in place. So whoever manufactured this cheaps out on the 2-sided tape. 🤷🏻‍♂️😡
