They are sold as bird seeds so they wouldn't have any safety checks as for human food stuffs. **Q: What is the country of origin? Are these from China?** A: No idea best ask seller, personally I like this product as do the wildlife will and have ordered before. **Q: Does anybody have a country of origin for these seeds?** A: Sorry I don't know, but I ordered mealworms from same company and discovered they were from China (I wasn't very pleased). ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great and a reasonable price *by M***S on 30 July 2026* Great suet pellets birds love them ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent value *by S***R on 2 July 2026* Excellent value for money. Loved by the wild birds that visit my garden - blackbirds, sparrows, doves, starlings. I order regularly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The birds love them *by J***T on 5 April 2022* Well they are a bit dusty as mentioned in other reviews- however all the reviews for the other products say that as well. If you buy smaller quantities then they are more expensive, so I figured that it was still more cost effective to get these. So I do have to wash the feeder a bit more often due to that but I still think this is a cheaper option- plus the birds seem really happy with them which is the most important thing to me anyway. I have a large storage bin for the bird feed which holds 2 boxes worth, there is no collection of dust at the bottom when I get to the end, so I have decided it can’t be that bad, some dust comes off the pellets as you tip them into the feeder and there’s some in the boxes within the pellets but it isn’t so much that it’s settled to the bottom. The first box I bought left a little trail of pellets across the driveway but since that I have bought 3 more and they have been sealed up better with tape so haven’t leaked - there is no plastic bag inside the boxes as they are being more environmentally friendly. I will keep buying this brand as it is a good price and the birds like it. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/386430404-maltbys-stores-12-6kg-suet-pellets-with-insects](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/386430404-maltbys-stores-12-6kg-suet-pellets-with-insects) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
