The box has a 32 edge crush test (ECT) value. ECT grade corrugated cardboard is constructed, tested, and graded for compressive strength, which is a useful quality for stacking; ECT values are measured in pounds per inch, and range between 23 and 112. This regular slotted container (RSC) is shipped knocked down flat (KDF) to reduce shipping costs and storage space, and can be assembled by taping the bottom flaps. When assembled, the box measures 5 x 5 x 5 inches (L x W x H). (L is length, the horizontal distance on the longest side; W is width, the horizontal distance on the shortest side; H is height, the vertical distance from top to bottom). This was by far the worst set I've purchased from any company. They were so flimsy that I questioned whether or not I could even safely ship my products in them and at multiple times considered just recycling them all and eating the money. Furthermore, as with almost all shipping boxes I've ever purchased, due to manufacturing defects, the corners have holes that must be taped because the edges don't line up properly. I wish I could point you in the right direction for good quality, but I find it is always a crapshoot. I have bought these boxes several times and have never had an issue with any of them. You do have to fold and secure them yourself (which is super easy with good packaging tape) but this isn't a major issue and it's actually fantastic for storage. They are sturdy boxes; I have yet to receive any indication that the delicate materials I send in these boxes have arrived broken. I couldn't return immediately and needed to ship my items so tried to make do with what I had. Don't know if they meant to ship seconds or it was a mistake.
