Review: Steiner Binoculars - A bit heavy but they are 10 x 50, so they are a bit larger than my other pair of Steiner binoculars (8 x 30). HOWEVER, my experience with the Steiner 8 x 30 goes back 15 years and they have proven themselves over and over as a great investment. Both are military and marine grade— fully waterproof and very comfortable. The 10 x 50 pair I just bought came with a floatable, waterproof next strap that will make sure the binoculars will not sink. I cannot say enough good things about them.

A bit heavy but they are 10 x 50, so they are a bit larger than my other pair of Steiner binoculars (8 x 30). HOWEVER, my experience with the Steiner 8 x 30 goes back 15 years and they have proven themselves over and over as a great investment. Both are military and marine grade— fully waterproof and very comfortable. The 10 x 50 pair I just bought came with a floatable, waterproof next strap that will make sure the binoculars will not sink. I cannot say enough good things about them.
