Through examining the artistic processes the artists go through in creating these gorgeous pieces of jewelry, Marcia gives us ideas on how to approach our own projects in a more unique fashion. After reading this book, I am finding myself thinking "outside of the box", and coming up with new projects, trying techniques and color combinations I had never attempted before. The ideas Ms. DeCoster presents here, along with the wonderful high-quality photographs (eye candy!) of each artist's work to illustrate them, are like taking a master class in beadwork design and technique from today's most talented bead artists. A refreshing change of pace from step-by-step projects books, DeCoster's unique "class" helped me improve as an ARTIST, and offered lessons normally only learned in a class (costing (at least) 10 times the book's price).
