Review: Overpriced and/or Defective Items - Bradford Exchange items have been a consistent disappointment including this Disney clock which we were very much looking forward to receiving. Despite the acceptable detailing on the small figurines (and forgiving on the princesses faces details since they are super small), it appears that someone tried to cover up the fact that the wires were split and ruined with hot glue and cheap tape. We tried connecting an adapter and then batteries (separately of course) to see if it will sing/rotate. The batteries didn’t work at all (we gave it two hours), then tried the adapter which briefly turned on rotation/light and then permanently stopped. (Clock was about $352+$49 protection plan option). This will be the 5th item so far we will be returning to Bradford Exchange for either: Items sold from this seller are defective (fail to play music, operate as advertised) or look like a 2 year old scribbled on figurines with a sharpie, (the Snow White singing globe-look at the Dwarfs mouths compared to the advertising-$109+shipping/tax, same with Beauty and the Beast singing Globe-very poor/cheap craftsmanship on Beast (look at the face and outfit compared to the advertising from seller-also $109+shipping/tax), and baby lion is an orange blob with a smiley face etched on-$136+shipping/tax. These kind of sales are fraudulent and rip innocent people off who don’t have the ability to spot the lack of quality and overpricing practices. **Q: Does it ding like 2 times for 2 o clock and 5 times for 5 o clock and so on...??**
A: No just one time each hour, & the sound is very tinny.

**Q: is there night sensor?**
A: Yes but mine never shuts off at night LOL but I love the clock, there is a knob on the side to turn the volume down.

**Q: Do the pine cone weights need to be pulled down daily to make the clock work?**
A: No this is a battery operated clock those are just for decoration purposes only.

**Q: Does the carousel get stuck?**

Awesome clock, very beautiful. Confused about one thing, has all the main characters from every movie you could want, and a bunch of side characters, yet no Timone from Lion King? Has Simba, Nalla, and Pumbaa, but no Timone lol.
