The blade measures approx. 2.25”... and by doing a little digging it turns out that is equal “approx.” 5.7cm **Q: Are these blades rust resistant? I keep 3 or 4 knives at strategic places in my extremely humid garage. When I need one, they frequently are rusted.** A: Mine arrived (one pack of three) with corrosion on them, The card that the blades was on had obviously gotten wet enough to fall apart though. I think they come coated with some kind of oil, as they tend to stick together. But they will definitely rust with enough exposure to moisture. I am sure this is the same as with any carbon steel based blade. **Q: How many blades are in each of the five packs?** A: The listed pack size is the actual blade count.
