If you are considering purchasing this wallet then you need to know what to expect before RIK starts making excuses for not taking care of business in the first place. Houston we have a problem. What's that email address again?This product is not inexpensive. I was hoping to replace my $12 wallet from Target which is getting a bit frayed after 10 years of use. So why not splurge a bit and get something really nice. Something made out of “Crazy Horse” leather maybe.What I liked:1 - Crazy soft leather.2 - 7 well placed pockets for cards.3 - Quite attractive.4 - Good overall size.What I didn't like:1 - The leather buckles at the fold when you open it. I could probably adjust to that.2 - You cannot keep the wallet fully open without constantly apply pressure. OK some more adjustment.3 - Leather that smells of mold. Not OK under any circumstances!4 - There is discoloration that looks like it could be mold. Not OK!5 - Packaging material that looks to be stained with leather dye. Nope don’t like that!6 - Cheesy up-scale-like packaging. Just plain tacky but easy to toss.This is a good idea very poorly executed! OK, so maybe China is not holding up their end of the manufacturing bargain. But there is no excuse whatsoever for RIK not performing quality control on what gets shipped to the customer. Purchase a bunch of wallets from China, put them up on Amazon and then ask your customers not to post bad reviews. I thought it was great when I received the wallet and looked to be well made. It is now May 4th and the nylon liner has ripped from the stitching on the bill side (that separates it from the credit cards. What I thought was well made, is not. The last wallet I had lasted 7 years. This one didn't even make it 4 months. VERY DISAPPOINTED and $30 down the drain.UPDATE: RIK sent me a new wallet at no cost as a replacement. That was very nice of them and good customer service in my view. I'll see how the new wallet holds up and revise my review again, at a later date. They get 5 Stars for Customer Service and that says a lot. Honestly, I'd give more stars, but I have to see how well the replacement holds up first.I received the replacement wallet and put it to use right away. Unfortunately, it ripped out in the same spot after a few weeks use. I've found another brand and am moving on.
