King Henry is a giant Venus Flytrap clone that grow 1.625 inch traps when full size. All King Henrys are genetically identical. King Henry Venus Flytraps are different than other Venus Flytraps being sold. King Henry Venus Flytraps get larger, make larger sized traps, and grow faster than a regular Venus Flytap. You will receive a live healthy large sized King Henry Venus Flytrap Plant. It comes with a 4 inch net pot, just like the one in the picture, moss appropriate for carnivorous plant soil loosely packed, and a detailed full page caresheet with a diagram on the back of the caresheet, written by an experienced Venus Flytrap grower specifically designed for beginners, explaining how to take care of Venus Flytraps. All you will need is a bowl or saucer to hold the Venus Flytrap's pot that it comes with and a little bit of water, a gallon or so of reverse osmosis or distilled water, and a sunny window or a place in the yard to put your Venus Flytrap's pot in. Humidity domes and year round warm weather are not necessary. Don't be fooled by other offers for Venus Flytraps that have them arrive in or with terrariums or humidity domes. These type of plants have strong light requirements and it is a myth that they need high humidity. The truth is that Venus Flytrap setups with terrariums or humidity domes almost always cause these types of plants to eventually die. They need to be grown in open air with containers that allow air to get into their soil and there should be little to block or diffuse their lighting. Venus Flytraps take about 2-3 years from seed to reach a decent size. A kit with Venus Flytrap seeds is not going to quickly turn into a Venus Flytrap about the size of the one offered in this listing. A beginner new to Venus Flytraps should be aware that if Venus Flytrap seeds are bought, even with a kit, that it will take at least 2 1/2 to 3 years, assuming it is grown correctly, to reach the size of the Venus Flytraps offered in this listing.

Our little guy arrived super healthy, quickly, and with great care instructions. We didn't have the necessary DISTILLED water on hand--we had only Wal-Mart store brand bottled water which is "purified by distillation and reverse osmosis." We are rural and our little convenient store also had ZERO distilled water. So, we picked some up the next day. We've had our Venus Flytrap for about a week now and it's doing GREAT and the 4 of us have really enjoyed it. We fed it the first time 3 days post transplant and were amazed how the trap closed right up. We were planning on feeding it another fly again this week (1 a week, per instructions), but I noticed this morning it has already fed itself again! :) Again, super cool little plant. Hubby told me I should order another.

My 8-year-old son had been wanting a Venus Flytrap forever and after looking locally to no avail, I decided to check Amazon. Our little guy arrived super healthy, quickly, and with great care instructions. We didn't have the necessary DISTILLED water on hand--we had only Wal-Mart store brand bottled water which is "purified by distillation and reverse osmosis." ### ⭐⭐ Very complicated to grow

There were too, too small like "just born', extremely delicate. I did everything they say as far as taking care of the plant. The tiny little plants are dead. I did no were so difficult to grow. Distilled water, a lot of sun and they have to eat otherwise they will die. I bought them because I had little black flies. Evidently they did not eat the flies whatever the motive was. And, as they suggest, to buy insects to feed them, was not for me. I did not know they were so complicated to grow. I just wanted a plant to eat the flies. I don't have the time to feed plants buying insects.
