Note that the round stand comes in the package fitted around the lens; I spent a half-hour looking through the packaging trying to figure out where it was. Sadly the case does not fit the ipad pro editions so I used a workaround with a jerry-rigged stand.That being said the camera is used to magnify the selfie side of the videocamera. It has a nice fisheye view but there is a certain amount of blurring. I think this would be okay for streaming facetime or small group student sessions but the image is not clear enough to record lectures.
