Bought this for my kids to take to school he is in 3rd grade and very active kid. Having a hard time in school he just can’t sit still or focus. This chair has made a big difference for him he can rock roll or wiggle all he wants and stays in one place. He has used it for the last several months and I can see he is improving at school. It’s not life changing but I feel it is a must have for kids with ADD it helps the teacher too and the schools can never afford chairs like this. If you have an ADD OR ADHD kid this is worth it for at home with homework or for at school. Worth the money. It’s well made hard plastic. It has the most comfortable seat & the best shaped curved bottom which allows for much better movement. I rock a lot...the other brands I've used have a slightly different shaped bottom that prevents as wide & smooth of a rocking motion as I enjoy. There may be brands that are half the cost of VS, but it's well worth the cost for my own personal use. I've owned a lime green VS hokki stool for about 5 years & it's in perfect condition (I have traveled around with it a lot). I purchased this blue one for use in another office.
