It was a two-person job and I had a hard time making it flat. Luckily I'm only using them on a few windows that we open for our whole house fan. The holes in the screen play tricks on your eyes. They distort the view and can make you feel weird if you look too long. Do not put these on windows that you look out regularly. However this screen is quite black, much more so than a normal window screen that is typically available. Even worse, the tightness and uniqueness of the weave makes the view distorted and unsettling, such as putting on someones prescription eyeglasses when your vision is normal. If you don't believe me and buy this product anyway, you'll find out the hard way.
