Be careful with how heavy you apply the paint, because the build-up after several of the required coats can cause some pretty freaky looking wrinkled runs. I only had that happen once, and then slightly backed off of how heavily I applied each coat. A well-prepared surface, proper room temperature, and evenly sprayed coats will result in a perfect wrinkle finish!

The VHT wrinkle black is a great finish for vintage auto restoration projects, and even old audio gear.
