I appreciate this may be firmER than a DOWN pillow, but in my view it should not be classified as "Extra Firm." It's FLUFFY and by the next morning, the pillow is flat. I was hoping it would somehow miraculously firm up after a couple of nights since it came in vacuum sealed packaging, but alas it's still fluffy and flattens every night. You have to "puff it up" after each use to get it back to the former fluffy shape.**UPDATE - revised from 1 to 4 stars**I switched to another, firm(er) pillow and found my neck and back pain got worse. While waiting for a suitable replacement, I used this pillow for a good week or so and realized that my neck and back pain subsided. I'm still not a fan of how flat the pillow gets each night (why I can't give it 5 stars), but I'm willing to fluff it up and flip it around every night/day as I am pretty sure these pillows are the reason my back and neck pain have subsided. ### ⭐⭐⭐ they were AMAZING. They held their shape, they were just firm enough to keep your neck aligned but soft enough to feel like a cloud.But after that month, they just went FLAT. It has lift, no really, it has LIFT baby. and it's not rock hard lift. The best way to explain it is like an adjustable cloud. It's very nice and soft and conforming, but without your head sinking below sea level to get that feel. Your head stays UP and with the way you can adjust this pillow, you can have basically any height you want.So, if you are a side sleeper, back sleeper, face sleeper that ends up on your elbows while breaking your back (yes, I've done this too), couch sleeper, lazy boy sleeper, you NEED this pillow.
