The Ibanez Mikro 3/4 scale electric guitar is perfect for last minute rehearsals, running scales while waiting for downloads, young rockers just joining the fray or anyone who just wants a smaller neck and body. Not to be confused with other small guitars, the Ibanez Mikro is no toy. Mikro features the same construction, high quality and careful set-up of the Ibanez full size GRX and GRG models. Mikro's 22" inch scale length (standard guitars feature a neck scale from 24 3.4" to 25 1/2") makes it the right choice for beginner players or pros practicing on the tour bus.

As an adult with short fingers and a smaller palm size, I had to do my research. This guitar fit the bill. It looks like an instrument made for adults that children can use. Not the other way around. I left the protective plastic on the face of the instrument, so it looks a bit off in the picture. It's not in the way, so I left it for now. I did remove the protective plastic from the pickups. I purchased this from Cosmo Music, and it arrived with a grantee that it works and was set up. It was ready to play on arrival. They also packaged it securely using a second box filled with bubble wrap. The courier crushed the outer box, but the guitar and it's box were in perfect condition.

A: Measuring my guitar, it is 35 5/8" from the tip of the headstock to the strap button on the bottom. With a 22 1/4" scale length. I love mine. Hope this answers your question.

A: While there isn't really a strict definition of what constitutes 1/4, 2/4, 3/4 or 4/4 guitars, the Mikro is most considered a 3/4 guitar.
