Review: Impressed - These are so good that I’m ordering another set. They are very strong , well made and stay in place all day . The other grips I’ve used bent while trying to use them and those that don’t bend don’t hold your hair and fall out anyway. I bought the black ones. I have a medium bob cut but do like to wear my hair up and these clips are amazing for that as not all my hair fits into a hair tie…. Very happy customer… oh and they are comfortable to wear too ❤️ Review: Strong hair clips that hold even the finest hair - Beautifull colours. A very strong robust hair clip that holds the finest of hair tight & stays in place. I ordered large as i didn't realise there was a medium in pink so ill order the medium too. Great price for some Really good hair clips. 100% recommend 👌 ## Features - SECURE YOUR STYLE: Essential Jumbo Metal Bobby Pins, designed for ultimate hold and stability in thick or curly hair, ensuring your look stays perfect all day - ENHANCE YOUR LOOK: Discover our 12-piece set of Jumbo Metal Hair Pins, offering versatile styling for various hair types and shades, seamlessly blending for a polished finish - UNRIVALLED DURABILITY: Crafted from high-quality metal, these extra-strong bobby pins are built to last, providing reliable, long-lasting hold for even the thickest hair - AMPLE SUPPLY & SIZE: Receive a convenient pack of 12pcs Large : 8cm (3.1 inch) / Medium : 6cm (2.3 inch) metal hairpins, perfect for everyday use or styling special occasion updos with ease - EASY CARE & STORAGE: Maintain the quality of your bobby pins by storing them in a dry place; designed for repeated daily use to ensure long-term performance and reliability ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09CV36DMJ | | ASIN | B09CV36DMJ | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | 16,136 in Beauty ( See Top 100 in Beauty ) 45 in Hair Pins | | Brand Name | Basic Sense | | Closure Type | Side Release | | Colour | Black-Medium | | Country Of Origin | China | | Country of origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (687) | | Customer reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (687) | | Embellishment Feature | Gemstone | | Hair Type | All | | Item Dimensions | 4 x 75 x 100 millimetres | | Item Shape | Crocodile | | Item Weight | 0.03 Kilograms | | Language | English | | Manufacturer | Basic Sense | | Manufacturer | Basic Sense | | Manufacturer reference | A1154-P | | Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 12 | | Occasion | Back to School | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Dimensions | 0.4 x 7.5 x 10 cm; 30 g | | Product Style | Contemporary | | Recommended Uses For Product | Hair Securing | | Theme | Occasion | | Unit Count | 12.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Adult - **Brand:** Basic Sense - **Colour:** Black-Medium - **Embellishment:** Gemstone - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Number of items:** 1 - **Number of pieces:** 12 - **Style:** Contemporary - **Theme:** Occasion - **Unit count:** 12.0 Count ## Images ![Basic Sense Jumbo Metal Hair Pins Sturdy Strong Bobby Slides Clips For Thick Hairpins for Unisex a pack of 12pcs - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61bAk2kxQCL.jpg) ![Basic Sense Jumbo Metal Hair Pins Sturdy Strong Bobby Slides Clips For Thick Hairpins for Unisex a pack of 12pcs - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/719IJfqJA4L.jpg) ![Basic Sense Jumbo Metal Hair Pins Sturdy Strong Bobby Slides Clips For Thick Hairpins for Unisex a pack of 12pcs - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/719Pnx7bz1L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How long are the large pins and how long are the medium pins?** A: The shorter ones I have are 6.5cms. and the long ones are 8.5cms. **Q: Are these hair grips flat on both sides or do they have ridges in?** A: flat on both. Bought the long ones for my daughter to help secure her hair when in and out of PPE. Her hair is long ( longer after 5 months without a hairdresser!) and really thick and these hold it is a bun with no movement, and no hair on her collar. They have not revolutionised her day ( they are only hair grips!) but they have made it a bit easier and right now that is all I could wish for. They really don't move. **Q: Are the blonde grips curved?** A: Yes, but I had to trow them out after only using them (any colour) once as they no longer gripped & some even fell out of my hair. So I don't recommend them. **Q: I would like to know have you got malti colours hair pins** A: Yes there are the three colours shown in the picture. They are good quality as well. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impressed *by M***O on 17 March 2026* These are so good that I’m ordering another set. I was a bit put off with the price but i now think they are worth it as the seller has postage too. They are lovely colours (i bought the grey combination ) and nice and long and sturdy too. I have fine hair and thought they might slip out but they do stay in place. I recommend this product and i think i'll buy some different colour combinations Thank you 5* ## Frequently Bought Together - Basic Sense Jumbo Metal Hair Pins Sturdy Strong Bobby Slides Clips For Thick Hairpins for Unisex a pack of 12pcs, Medium Black - Mbsomnus 50pcs 7cm Hair Grips - Black Hair Pins, Bobby Pins Set for Women & Girls, Waved Kirby Grips - Perfect for Updos & Styling, Ideal for All Types of Hair - Mytoptrendz® - Pack of 12 pcs Curved Jumbo Bobby Pins Hair Clips for Girls Women (Silver Grey mix-60mm)-MT --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/375445951-basic-sense-jumbo-metal-hair-pins-sturdy-strong-bobby-slides](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/375445951-basic-sense-jumbo-metal-hair-pins-sturdy-strong-bobby-slides) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
