Useful for checking temperature - work horse. Bought this in 2020 and it is still working strong with original battery. Very easy to clean the stainless steel probe. The thermometer is light weight and ergonomic. It is easy to use - press the button for turning it on and then it gives you the option to read in Celsius/Farenheit.
