I make different types of teas using ground spices and needed something that could steep for 10 minutes or longer with a coffee filter. This teapot is perfect. A regular round or coned coffee filter fits right into the basket and the teapot fits perfectly on my small stove burner. I've had it for less than a week, so if I have any issues with it holding up I'll update my post. I'd give it one star but it does look nice and it seems to be made well considering the low price. I wouldn't recommend it though.
