Sounds very high compared to the previous model it replaces and the gpm is actually lower?** A: 12vdc/7.5a max (use 10a fuse). **Q: What is the difference between the 4008-10-A65 and the 4008-101-E65 ?** A: The E65 is the retail part number. Comes in a fancy box with instructions and hose fittings. The A65 is just the pump, sold to manufacturers and repair shops. Same pump as the E65. **Q: What is its temperature rating can it handle 212 degree water?** A: The way a system works is that the pump pushes cold water into the water heater....which pushes out the hot water upon demand. Why would your pump need the handle hot water? **Q: I'm hooking up this pump to a 12v battery so I'll be using one red and one black wire for that - what the second red wire for?** A: My pump only has one red and one black? Which I simply hooked to a switch them to battery as usual.
