I measured the exhaust fitting on mine as 6" diameter, and the hose & fitting specified as being 5.9" fits perfectly. Very easy to do; easier than I'd anticipated. However, some smaller AC units have a 5" diameter outlet. Check yours before ordering to be sure you get the correct size. It might be listed in the manual but I just used a tape measure. Whatever the size, you do not need to use original-manufacturer parts, which are hard to find and ridiculously overpriced.
