They feel balanced and light in your hands and blend the coat well. I echo the reviewers who commented how sharp they are! I stupidly assumed the untoothed blade was not sharpened, so when I wiped the hair from the scissors I sliced into my finger as if it were a razor blade. Lesson learned! I also agree the holes in the handles are not really for male fingers and thumbs, but as an occasional user I don't mind this aspect.
