Review: Big difference in internet speeds - My media box recently got renovated. The wire mess I had in it got organized and was using an old linksys wired router. It still seemed messy so getting this Leviton router which is designed for the media box seemed like a better idea. It did take longer for it to arrive but can't blame ups or desertcart. It was the weather that caused it. So upon getting it I installed it into my media box and connected all Ethernet cables. Well I can say the speed on this router is amazing. For being 10/100 mps it does work great. It handles a security camera system, 4 computers, 2 tablets, a blueray player, and 2 cell phones really well. Do wish the instructions on the router had more thought put into it because it took me a while to figure out port forwarding. So once again great but from desertcart. Review: The Perfect 4-Port Router for Our Home - This router was purchased to replace the exact same 4-port router mounted in our home communications panel. It allows for four rooms in our house to have hard-wired Cat 5 computer connectivity to the internet. We're very happy with the performance and would purchase it again if/when the current router needs to be replaced. ## Features - Connects to a Category 5e Voice and Data Module with Category 5 or Category 5e patch cords - Cascade additional switches or hubs from any LAN port with auto-detect uplink, designed for up to 253 connections - UPnP (universal plug-and-play) allows automatic discovery and configuration of the Gateway - Built-in NAT firewall protects networks from outside observation and provides secure communication for network users - Customizes web access and filters unwanted sites with URL blocking feature ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000U3DY4Q | | Antenna Location | Home | | Brand | Leviton | | Color | White | | Connectivity Protocol | Ethernet | | Connectivity Technology | Ethernet | | Control Method | Voice | | Controller Type | Switch | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 21 Reviews | | Data Transfer Rate | 100 megabits_per_second | | Frequency Band Class | Single-Band | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00078477132241 | | LAN Port Bandwidth | 10/100 megabits per second | | Manufacturer | Leviton | | Maximum Upstream Data Transfer Rate | 100 megabits_per_second | | Mfr Part Number | 47611-GT4 | | Model Name | GT4 | | Model Number | R00-47611-GT4 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Ports | 4 | | Operating System | ZyNOS | | Other Special Features of the Product | WPS | | Recommended Uses For Product | Home | | Security Protocol | WPS | | Special Feature | WPS | | UPC | 078477132241 013147071413 | | Warranty Description | 2 Year Limited | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Leviton - **Color:** White - **Connectivity Technology:** Ethernet - **Frequency Band Class:** Single-Band - **Model Name:** GT4 - **Number of Ports:** 4 - **Operating System:** ZyNOS - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Home - **Security Protocol:** WPS - **Special Feature:** WPS ## Images ![Leviton 47611-GT4 10/100Mbps 4-Port Internet Gateway - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61J5Qefuf9L.jpg) ![Leviton 47611-GT4 10/100Mbps 4-Port Internet Gateway - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61okmbSiRtL.jpg) ![Leviton 47611-GT4 10/100Mbps 4-Port Internet Gateway - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/618IsxV8klL.jpg) ![Leviton 47611-GT4 10/100Mbps 4-Port Internet Gateway - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61pjehh4XyL.jpg) ![Leviton 47611-GT4 10/100Mbps 4-Port Internet Gateway - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61k0+AuOwqL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Big difference in internet speeds *by M***B on February 18, 2014* My media box recently got renovated.
