A little tight in the chest but after a few uses under plate or chain mail, its just a little snug. Its very warm as well. The chain mail voider is well made, I chose the riveted black version. I have a very large range of motion, only reaching straight up into the air causes any resistance from the gambeson. Mine is a little on the small side. not sure if they all are or just mine. I ordered a 49inch and this feels more like a 46. The sleeves are also pretty tight for a 49. I will leave more feedback when I have put it to the test of combat.
