They are alright and the kids do stay on fine and it has some air tightness but no they aren’t completely air tight. **Q: Would the large one fit two bags of ground coffee still in their bags?** A: I don't drink coffee, so I can't really say. It measures 8 in. tall, 3 in. wide and 5 in. across. I bought the set for keeping things in my bathroom. **Q: Can anyone tell me how many ounces each container holds or how many cups each will hold?** A: Not exact but the little one will hold about 1 cup, the medium about 2-2.5 cups and the big one probably 3-4 cups. **Q: What is the actual color?** A: The actual color is a mint green but it’s more of a neutral mint green.
