It has a metallic shine to it I haven't seen on any other type of carbon fiber skin from other brands. The material is nice because you can remove and re-apply it numerous times to align it properly and it does not lose it's adhesion. It gives this re-furb, rebuilt PS4 Pro new life visually. Very nice! Review: This is the one to get folks! - I had bought another brand that were "brushed metallic" and my home printer could have done a better job. These are a thousand times better! The material is thick and easy to readjust without stretching or tearing, and even feels like you would expect it to. It is nearly complete coverage - front, top, sides and even the bottom - for those of you who put their console standing on its side. They even included strips to cover the horizontal areas on the front - although those were the most difficult pieces to align. I haven't yet tried the two included controller skins though. My application recommendations: do it in bright, direct sunlight and use a Clorox wipe and a paper towel to get all of the dust out of the way before applying each piece. The cut and fit was as close to perfect as I could expect - it's never going to be as good as actually painting it, but it was plenty accurate enough for my tastes. Peels off after a few hours *by W***. on October 30, 2018* This skin was near impossible to put on the system, there are no included instructions as to what goes on where, some of the pieces have no clear spot to be placed or don't appear to fit anywhere. The adhesive is so sticky that you have to keep ripping it off in order to line it up. (You'll have to try and line each piece up countless times.) Eventually the skin just gets damaged from reapplying it so much. By the time I was done it just looked horrible and I did not want to risk reapplying it 30 more times. After I play session, the adhesive lost its stickiness and began falling off the console. It just looks like a mess now and I'm going to take it off.
