I have used cheesecloth in the past, but THIS works so much better. I love that I can just leave it there to drain into the pan for as long as necessary. The Juice Strainer fit perfectly on my big pot and held sturdy. I read that some of the other reviewers had a problem with the grommets tearing or pulling away from the fabric. I have not had that problem, at all, so perhaps this problem has been fixed or maybe I just haven't used mine as much as they have. Anyway, I have had no such problems. This worked perfectly for our jellies and for making dandelion-infused olive oil as well. When I purchased mine, which was in October of 2015, I ordered an extra set of bags to be sure I was covered, but I have only had to use the original bag so far, so it really was not necessary. The bag rinses out very nicely. I washed it by hand and allowed it to air dry with excellent results. I am so happy to have this lovely Juice Strainer!
