I love that they came with lids that seem fairly airtight. They’re sturdy. Amazon shipped them without padding and they arrived in perfect condition, which says something about how well they’re made. They’re 2 quarts, which is exactly what you want for 4 cups of flour recipes. Rising your dough in glass (for challah) is one of the preferred materials. They’re versatile. I can use these for measuring out other liquids when cooking and baking. The glass is stable and can be used in the heat. They fit my needs perfectly and should for most bakers because of what recipes call for… they make baking so much easier. I love the stability of Anchor Hocking glass. There isn’t anything that holds up as well. I worried about the heaviness of them, but they’re not too heavy. The handle is so comfortable. I have measuring glasses from another popular company, so these are my first by Anchor Hocking and they’re much more comfortable. I also like that the numbers are embossed on the glass, instead of printed in red. It seems easier to read, which is not what I’d expect. They fit in my fridge so much easier than my metal mixing bowls. I’m so happy I got them To sum up...
