These are Better since they fold flat when not in use. Also the zipper goes all the way around to reach in to grab any little bait fish caught in it. The only thing that is an issue is that it is fabric. Small catfish or other barbed fish get tangled badly and sometimes rip the netting. It can be repaired by a quick stitch or two. No a deal breaker.
